Ascension Foodbank

If you do not have enough money to buy food for yourself or your family please get in touch. We are currently only delivering to residents of Custom House (Postcode E16 3) and are not accepting drop ins. If you do not live in Custom House and are unsure of where to go there are other foodbanks available locally that we can put you in touch with. To request a foodparcel from our foodbank please call 020 7511 1232 and leave a message with your name and number. Someone will get back in touch with you.

Advice Service

If you are in need of advice on housing, benefits, employment or something else we can offer a telephone appointment with one of our trained advisors. Please get in touch by phone on 020 7511 1232 or email to request an appointment. We will confirm an appointment time with you.

Volunteer Shoppers

If you are shielding or afraid of the risks of visiting supermarkets, but have the finances for a regular food shop, we can put you in touch with a volunteer shopper. Please do not request a food parcel for this reason. The finances will be dealt with by us or our partner organisation and you will not give any money directly to any volunteer.

We are accepting donations for our food bank. They can be dropped off in the entrance hall at Ascension between 9am and 12pm Monday to Friday. You can also donate financially by clicking the button above. This money will go directly to our foodbank.

We are committed to Safeguarding Children, Young People, Victims of Domestic Abuse and Vulnerable Adults. Please find our safeguarding policy under the about us section.
