The cafe aims to bring the community together and improve quality of life for local people. We are open Monday to Saturday to the public and run a number of projects and events outside our usual open hours.
We offer a range of healthy and freshly prepared food at the cafe. Or can we tempt you to one of our coffees created by our barista trained staff? To download our menu click here.
We offer external catering options from £2 a head. Our food is always freshly prepared. Please click here to download our external catering menu. For orders please call us on 020 7511 1755 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The cafe is available to hire in the evenings for meetings, events or parties. Hiring the cafe includes having a staff member on site to help with your event, make refreshments and sell snacks. We are happy to rearrange the cafe to best suit your needs. Catering options are available, please see our external catering menu or ask if your would like a hot meal provided. Venue Hire is £30 an hour with discounts are available for regular bookings or local community groups. Please call or email us to discuss your requirements.
The Café has been instrumental in a number of successful initiatives including:
Training and volunteering: providing a range of certified and on the job training and volunteering opportunities for local people, including customer care skills training, food hygiene and first aid training. These opportunities have led to employment for many people.
Support for those with Complex Needs: The cafe provides work placements for adults and young people who have learning difficulties or mental health issues. This support service is very popular and we often have no free spaces.
Community events: Throughout the year we run and host a variety of community events including music nights, quiz nights, free community meals and children's events.
“Chill out” space: The café provides an informal and safe place for local people to meet and relax, including the elderly, school students and many vulnerable people in our community
