On 9th June our foodbank officially became part of the Trussell Trust network, it’s name is Newham District Foodbank. We are open 10am to 12pm on Thursdays by collection only. Trussell Trust is an organisation that supports a nationwide network of food banks, providing emergency food and support to people facing poverty. The organisation also campaigns to end the need for foodbanks in the UK. Being part of the Trussell Trust network means we will follow their carefully thought out systems and procedures, which includes a specific referral system.
If you would like to refer a household to us or you need help yourself you will need a voucher from a referral agency. More information on how to get help can be found on our foodbank website here: Newham District Foodbank Website
In you are in need of support and not sure where to turn please contact us about our advice service. Priority for advice appointments goes to those accessing our foodbank. If are using our foodbank you may be able to see someone on the same day. Alternatively, you can contact us to book an appointment. Our advice service runs on Wednesdays only.
